JOURNEY OF GripX
In 2008, a young boy who is passionate about gadgets, especially in smartphones, was thinking about starting a company. He wanted to create a company that would provide remarkable phone cases that are unique and stand out from the others. From this point GripX was born.
From 2009 to 2010, we worked hard, polished our ideas and thinking to develop cases that would truly meet consumer expectations. In 2011 we launched our first product lineup, providing cases for both Android and iPhone models. We were confident that our product would be a hit, but unfortunately or fortunately, it was not successful. We faced challenges with product quality, and consumer feedback was not great. At this moment, the GripX team realized that customers were looking for something different from the ordinary cases that they have been using for years.
Rather than giving up, we went back to the drawing board with our designing team. This time, we had a clear idea of what consumers were looking for in a phone case and why they made their choices. From this point, within three months we launched the “Fusion Series”, which allowed customers to customize their cases asper their individual preference. Beyond customization, these cases provided superior protection and even better grips. The Fusion Series was a huge success, and later the years we have introduced many other product line ups which were also successful. The consumer feedback was incredible, and for the first time in the industry, we introduced a full return policy allowing customers to return the product after 30 days of use if they are not satisfied with a full refund guaranteed.
Throughout this journey, we have continued to research, innovate, and improve our products, ensuring we meet and satisfying customer expectations. A few years later, GripX grew into one of the premium smartphone case brands in the industry.When we look back through our journey, we have faced a lot of challenges to establish GripX. What began as the vision of a 21 year old boy named Abhi became a reality through perseverance and a commitment to quality. Abhi’s vision was to provide products that were not only high quality but also different from others. He faced many failures but never gave up.
Today, we are proud to say that GripX has 26 retail locations. If you walk into any of our stores, you will be greeted by a colorful, vibrant space where you can design your own one of a kind phone case and receive it within 30 minutes. In 2024, GripX achieved 210 million sales across our e-commerce platforms and physical stores.
At GripX, we believe everyone has their own kind of collecting things. Some people collect shoes, some people collect wallets, we feel like with phone cases it is just the same thing. It is one thing to capture a consumer’s attention, it is another to grow with them over time and continue to serve their needs.
